2016 Council and District Service opportunities
Requirement 13 of the Post-Graduate Challenge is:
Share your leadership skills through “Service to Others” by serving on the staff at one district or council activity. Describe in your notebook the date, place, event, and what you did. Check the yearly council calendar for ideas. Have this page of your notebook signed by the activity director. Your Scoutmaster/Advisor may substitute staffing a non-Scout event for this requirement if necessary.

Counselor in Training

Oso Lake contact Mr Fabian Derache or Mr Jerry Clarke (Note: Mr Clark was the 2015 NYLT CD so he'll have high expectections of performance. Mr Derache has been NYLT Scoutmaster for several years)

Cub Scout Day Camps

Del Mar Cub Day Camp
Boy Scouts would be helping as Den Chiefs and program station experts.
Both types of volunteers would earn service hours.
We have about 50 Cub Scouts who will have a ton of fun, and we want to mke sure that we are putting on a fun and safe camp, and we want your help.
If you are even slightly interested, join us on Saturday, July 9 at 2 pm at the Council offices on Dyer Road in Santa Ana for our Volunteer Orientation.
On Monday night at 7 pm we are holding a Camp Orientation where we will pass out the camp uniform (t-shirt) and collect medical forms.
